A Struggle

I just spent six hours of my life in the studio working on a self portrait. The assignment for my design class is to do a self portrait using textures but only in black and white. You can take pictures of textures to use them or simply use various textures. I decided that I wanted to recreate my face in a way that looks realistic to some degree, much like the art of Chuck Close.
I used pictures of  hair, concrete wall, beanie, and desk to create the textures for my face. I cut the pictures of the text with a hole punch and at times would create largers circles. But the entire face is made up of circles. Here is what I have so far:
